This image showcases a custom-framed mid-century British Railways tourism poster titled "Yorkshire Coast: See England by Rail."

Created circa 1950 by commercial artist John Bee, the illustration depicts the coastal fishing village of Staithes in North Yorkshire. In the foreground, two fishermen lean against a stone wall overlooking Roxby Beck, traditional coble boats, cluster of pantile-roofed stone cottages, and steep sea cliffs.

A poignant screenprinted poster titled "BORDERLINE OFFENSIVE," created as a collaboration between Colombian print studio La Linterna and Terminal 1 for Glastonbury 2024.

Artwork Details

Imagery: A stark, high-contrast illustration depicting a border wall crossing. A figure at the top of the wall reaches down to take a child being lifted up by an adult on a ladder below, capturing a tense yet deeply human moment.

Framing & Presentation

Black Frame: Encased in a clean, minimalist matte black wooden moulding that grounds the vibrant print and complements the deep black ink of the artwork.

A playful blend of pub culture and delicate botanical illustration, featuring a classic black-and-gold Guinness Draught can reimagined as a vase for a wildflower bouquet of daisies, orange poppies, and lavender. The print is presented in a deep-set, clean white wooden frame that accents the soft watercolor background and allows the bold contrast of the black can and colorful flora to pop.
