Another happy customer 😁

We were previously called out to inspect a faulty oven and diagnosed the issue as a failed display PCB. After discussing the repair costs, the customer decided it was more cost-effective to replace the appliance with a brand new oven.

We supplied and fitted a new single oven, leaving the customer back up and running with a reliable new appliance 🔧🔥

Tumble dryer repair 🔧

Customer reported an F04 fault code and the dryer not heating properly. After diagnosing the issue, we found the fault to be a failed heater element — luckily, we had the part stocked on the van, so it was replaced there and then to get the machine back up and running ✅

The customer also mentioned the dryer had been noisy for some time. Further inspection found a missing drum support wheel, causing the drum to run unevenly and create excess noise.

A quote has been provided for the additional repair, and we’re now waiting for confirmation to get it sorted 👌

Another busy day out attending a school after being called in to assess 5 machines that were down — including 2 buffers and 3 scrubber dryers.

The visit was originally just to inspect the machines and provide quotes for repairs, but we managed to get a couple of them back up and running there and then 💪

🛠 Buffer Repairs:
• One buffer had a damaged cable with exposed wires — replaced the cable and made safe.
• The second buffer wouldn’t power on at all. After further investigation, we found the live wire had disconnected inside the handle. Re-secured the connection and tightened the cable sleeve to help prevent it happening again.

Instead of leaving the customer waiting for quotes and parts, we carried out these quick and efficient repairs on-site to get them back up and running with as little downtime as possible ✅

🧼 Scrubber Dryer Assessments:
• Nilfisk scrubber dryer wasn’t moving forwards or backwards. Found damage inside the paddle assembly with the shaft and spring out of line. Managed to secure it for temporary use, but a replacement paddle has been recommended.
• Small Numatic scrubber dryer wasn’t dispensing water. After checks and testing, the fault was traced to a failed solenoid which now needs replacing.
• Larger Numatic scrubber dryer was tripping the electrics when the brush lever was pressed. After checking wiring, motors and components, the fault was found to be a damaged brush motor, a faulty solenoid was also noticed on inspection. Due to the age of the machine and the cost of the repairs, the customer has been advised to consider replacement options instead of repair.

Quotes have now been sent over, with 3 already accepted ✅
We’ve also been asked to help source a replacement machine for the larger Numatic scrubber dryer.

🛠️ Recent Repair – Washing Machine Not Spinning

Customer reported their washing machine drum had stopped spinning. On inspection, the drum had very little resistance when turned by hand — a common sign the drive system isn’t engaged.

After removing the back panel, I found the drive belt had come off. Checked the drum pulley, motor shaft, and belt for any damage or wear, but everything was in good condition.

Re-fitted the belt, tested the machine under load, and it’s now running perfectly again ✅

Sometimes it’s a simple fix, but it’s always important to check for underlying causes before putting everything back together.

Out with the old integrated, in with the new freestanding🚿✨

We removed an old integrated dishwasher and installed a brand new freestanding unit for the customer. Nice upgrade and a much more practical setup going forward 👍

We also had to trim down the kitchen plinth to get everything sitting neatly and looking spot on — all part of the job to make sure the finish is just right 👌

Washing machine not spinning? 🌀

Customer reported their washing machine wasn’t spinning and was making a lot of noise. After inspection, we found the drive belt had come off the motor shaft and drum pulley. We checked the pulley, motor shaft and belt for any wear or damage — all in good condition — so it was simply a case of refitting the belt 👍

While testing on a spin/drain cycle, we noticed the pump was quite noisy. On further inspection, we removed the filter and found coins and debris causing a blockage. After a full clean-out and re-test, everything is now running smoothly again 💧
