A modern library that reflects the roots, character and heritage of the town it calls home.

Huddersfield’s new Library Hub is part of Kirklees Council’s £200m+ Our Cultural Heart regeneration programme, helping create new spaces for people to learn, work, meet and spend time together.

YPO supported the furniture procurement, design and installation, helping turn the plans into a welcoming, flexible space for the whole community.

Local identity runs through the project too, with furniture and materials sourced within 50 miles wherever possible, bespoke pieces made in Ossett and Huddersfield’s textile heritage reflected through local manufacturer Camira.

13,000 little reindeer took part last year… and this Christmas, we’re doing it all over again! 🦌🎄

The Wakefield Hospice Reindeer Run is back for 2026, giving schools and nurseries across Wakefield a fun way to get moving, get festive and raise money for local hospice care.

Children can take on a sponsored mile in their reindeer antlers, while one lucky teacher gets the very important job of leading the herd… dressed as Santa. 🎅

We’re delighted to be supporting the Reindeer Run as headline sponsor for the second year, helping provide free resources for everyone taking part, including make your own Rudolph hats for nursery children.

And keep an eye out for our purple vans too 👀 Santa’s delivery service will be back, with our YPO drivers helping to deliver Reindeer Run packs to participating schools and nurseries across Yorkshire. 💜

Last year, 13,000 children helped raise an incredible £43,000 for Wakefield Hospice. This year, the hospice is aiming for £50,000.

£70.4 million in social impact 💜

It's a big number, but the people and achievements behind it are what really bring it to life.

The image below shows a snapshot of 2025.
YPO colleagues gave 664 volunteering hours to local charities and community projects, spent over 120 hours supporting local schools and colleges, donated £27,522 of equipment and resources to VCSEs, and delivered 52 weeks for 21 apprentices.

Social Value and Sustainability…
Lots of different actions, led by people across YPO and supporting our different communities.
Together, they show what social value can look like when it becomes part of the way an organisation works.
