I’ve had a couple of hours this morning helping out at Wrenthorpe & Kirkhamgate Assist - who provide over 100 food parcels every week to vulnerable people in Wakefield.

In addition they provide a free warm space for people struggling with their energy bills (not particularly relevant today, mind!) and give people the chance to meet new people, at Wrenthorpe Methodist Church on Wednesday & Friday each week.

The facility couldn’t continue without the support of the volunteers who give up their time to help others, so a big 👏 to each and every one!

Today we’ve been able to give the great news to two clients, who have had their mortgage offers issued today… 😁

Our first time buyers can look forward to becoming home owners, whilst our re-mortgage clients can book in builders ready for their home to be extended for their growing family.
