✨ Another beautiful solid oak floor brought back to life! ✨

This lovely solid oak flooring in Risca has had a full restoration, and what a transformation! 😍

From the living and dining areas through into the hallways and entrance, the oak flooring has been carefully sanded to bring back the natural beauty, character and warmth of the timber.

Once the sanding was complete, the entire floor was finished with Osmo Clear Matt, giving the oak a beautiful natural appearance while providing a hard-wearing finish to protect it for years to come.

😏🫣 You wouldn’t believe what was hiding underneath this floor! 🫣😏

This tired and heavily marked original floorboard flooring in a bedroom has had a serious transformation.

The floor had some very stubborn bitumen staining which made the restoration particularly challenging, but after a lot of preparation and careful sanding, we managed to bring these beautiful original floorboards back to life. 🌳

The floor was then stained using Fiddes Wh***ey Hard Wax Oil, giving the timber that rich, warm tone, before being finished with Fiddes Hard Wax Oil in Matt for a natural-looking, durable finish.

From heavily stained and tired… to warm, rich and full of character. 😍🔥

A little foyer with a BIG transformation! 🔥

I was originally called in to restore the huge maple strip flooring throughout this Llanover Village Hall, and they were so pleased with the result that they asked me to come back and tackle the oak parquet in the foyer.

Another beautiful transformation completed using Iroko parquet flooring throughout the living room, office and hallway.

The floor was carefully sanded, all gaps were filled and everything was finished with Osmo Clear Matt for a natural, hard-wearing finish that really brings out the character of the Iroko. 🌳

A lovely warm floor with plenty of natural colour and grain. 👌

A lovely project bringing together original floorboards, reclaimed timber and oak strip flooring.

The old fire hearth was removed, with matching floorboards sourced from a local reclamation yard to repair the area and blend it back into the existing dining room floor.

The dining room floorboards were fully sanded and restored, while the oak strip flooring in the hallway was also sanded and brought back to life.

Everything was finished with Osmo Clear Matt for a natural, hard-wearing finish that really showcases the timber. 🌳
