Nine years into my full-time business and it's unrecognisable from those first few years.

And thanks to the amazing Andrea at Beehive Green my sparkling new brand identity reflects where I'm at.

Andrea took a jumble of thoughts in my head and worked magic to create a clear, vibrant and playful brand. 🤸

I wanted to focus on my ideal clients - purpose-led brands that have a positive social impact. I wanted to showcase my skills and experience without being boring. And I wanted to stop fannying around with inconsistent colours, fonts and images!

I'm over the moon with the result. It's going to take me a little while to use it properly across various platforms and adjust my messaging - definitely evolution rather than a big-bang change. But I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Andrea for being brilliant. She's not only a creative genius, I'm in awe of her organisation skills - like Marie Condo for business 💥

Happy Friday - may it be filled with sunshine and marigolds (the name of the lovely yellow in my new colour palette). 💛

A lovely surprise from a client to say thank you at the end of a major project.

It’s been a year and a half of the most challenging, fulfilling work I’ve ever experienced. I’ll write about it at some point, but for now I’m just incredibly grateful for the wonderful people I work with.

Really looking forward to volunteering today at Media Trust event in celebration of - supporting 30 women-championing charities.

I’m chuffed to be working with UK Cervical Cancer to help them power up their comms plan. Coffee in hand and ready to get cracking!

Today we’re attending ’s event in celebration of ! We’ll be spending the day brainstorming and getting advice from our own dedicated team of expert comms volunteers.

After a briefing today, I can’t wait to be part of this event next week.

I’ve been selected by Media Trust to work with a wonderful charity on the day, brainstorming ideas and getting their comms plan in shape so they can have more impact.

Shedquarters is up and painted - just needs power and heating and we’re done.

The cocktail bar is in, needs a little tlc but I can’t wait to christen it! Now to do the office area so we can work in there too.

I haven’t felt this excited over croissants in a long time!

Of course it wasn’t just the lure of pastries that got me out - it was the brilliant .auerbach talking about the future of working for a happier life.

Key insights for me…

✨flexibility is a whole range of things - not just working from home
✨better flexibility is possible for all kinds of work, not just for those who have a laptop- employers need to think creatively
✨we need to factor in time to pause to allow creativity and innovation to flow
✨we need to make the most of our individual, natural rhythms - work around our most productive times of the day
✨our community spaces need to change so they’re about living & working there. Where people have a sense of belonging, not just dormitories.
✨office spaces need to be used differently to allow for meaningful connection when people do come together

And the absolute cherry on the croissant was meeting up with who I’ve been dying to see for ages. We need more time next time!
