🔹 What you’ll be doing:

RDC deliveries
Moving cages (light handball)
Completing checks & paperwork

🔹 What you need:
✔ Class 1 (C+E) Licence
✔ CPC & Digi Tacho
✔ Minimum 2 years experience preferred

We’re currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver with Groundworker experience to join a busy construction and installation team.
This is a hands-on, site-based role — not just driving. You’ll be working alongside the team installing and removing street furniture such as bus shelters and digital advertising screens.
💷 Pay Rate
£16.00 – £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)

🚛 The Role Includes:
• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles nationwide
• Loading, unloading, and securing materials
• Assisting with installations on-site
• Groundworks including digging, lifting, and site prep
• Working in live highway environments
• Training provided for ALLMI HIAB (hook attachment)
📍 Nationwide travel required
🏨 Overnight stays (accommodation & expenses covered)
✅ Full-time, permanent PAYE role (after initial trial period)

✅ What We’re Looking For:
• Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho card
• CSCS card
• Experience in highways, civils, utilities, or similar
• Comfortable with manual labour
• Flexible to work away when needed
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused
⭐ Desirable (not essential):
• NRSWA accreditation
• Major project experience (e.g. HS2)

The Best Connection Walsall are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join a well-established, family-run drainage company on an ongoing basis 💼
You’ll be working alongside an experienced drainage engineer, driving a Class 2 tanker and supporting on site when required.
🔧 Your duties will include:
• Driving a Class 2 tanker (manual gearbox) to customer sites
• Assisting the engineer with equipment and site setup
• Providing general support on site
• Carrying out safety checks and supporting work below ground
• Completing any additional duties as required
⏰ Working hours:
• Monday to Friday
• Occasional weekend work required
• Flexibility needed due to job locations and workload
💷 Pay rates:
• £15.50 – £21.75 per hour (depending on experience and shifts)
✅ Requirements:
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience with manual gearboxes preferred
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Team player with a willingness to support on site
