It all started back in January with one simple goal... 💙 To bring together everyone who knew Nick, alongside those whose lives have been touched by diabetes, and raise £10,000 in his memory for Diabetes UK.

We knew it wouldn't happen overnight, and at times it hasn't been easy, but thanks to an incredible community, today we are proud to say we have reached an amazing £6,000! 🎉

What a journey it's been so far…..

🚶‍♂️ We kicked things off with our 7K Walk for Nick.
🧠 Our Quiz Night brought so many together and, was such a success that it's now set to become an annual event.
🚗 Our Community Car Boot Sale kept the momentum going.
🌼 Jill, Nick's mum, organised a wonderful Plant & Coffee Morning in Nick's hometown, giving us the extra boost we needed.
⚽ Our World Cup Sweepstake got everyone involved, proving that a little friendly competition can go a long way when it's all for a great cause.
🎉 And finally, the generosity shown at the LJ CA Cannings & Sons and Calber Summer Party helped top up the fundraising pot once again.

These events are only part of the story. Along the way, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of so many people who have donated, gifted raffle prizes, volunteered their time, supported our events, or simply shared our fundraising journey. Every single contribution, no matter how big or small, has helped us get to where we are today.

£6,000 raised... and just £4,000 to go!
