👋 Meet Jacek

Jacek Maslowski joined C.U. Phosco in 2026, bringing with him 10 years of experience in the lighting industry, with extensive experience in the design and delivery of exterior lighting projects.

As Lighting Designer, he works on a variety of lighting projects across the UK and internationally, developing solutions that balance technical performance, energy efficiency and visual quality.

Outside of work, he’s a keen runner and enjoys getting out into the mountains for a hike whenever he can. 🏃‍♂️⛰️

Congratulations to Jacek, who has also just achieved a distinction in Module A of the ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma, with two more modules to go before he completes the full diploma.

Backing Cleve RFC for another season 🏉

We’re proud to continue supporting Cleve Rugby Football Club as sponsor of the club’s off-field kit. We’re also backing player Liam Clode, and we look forward to following his development this season.

It’s been a great start for the team, with league wins earlier this month. We wish them continued success as they keep the momentum going, so keep an eye out for their full squad announcement, coming soon.

Supporting grassroots sport matters to us. Clubs like Cleve, which has been at the heart of its local community for over 100 years, help players build confidence, teamwork and skills that go well beyond the pitch.

🎉 Promotion News 🎉

We are delighted to announce that Rhys Morris has been promoted to Manufacturing Project Manager - Connected Urban.

The new role will allow Rhys to focus on developing, managing, and improving our internal manufacturing processes for the Connected Urban to support the growing telecommunications market, and to continue delivering a world-class product to our customers.

For now, Rhys will continue to oversee Steel Purchasing for continuity of supply, until the role has been filled, at which point he will hand it over.

Today mark’s world Mental Health Day 💚

With the office closed today, we didn't want to miss out, so our team wore green this week to mark the occasion.

Every year, we mark the day by wearing green as a team, hoping to raise awareness of the key themes highlighted each year. This year's theme is "Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change." We believe every voice deserves to be heard, and that talking and communication are key to every area of our lives.

We're proud to have a dedicated Wellbeing team of 9 cross-site colleagues, some qualified to Mental Health First Aid Level 3, along with a 24/7 support hotline, so our colleagues always have somewhere to turn.

CWConnected Founders Dinner and Conference.

Last week, members from C.U. Phosco Ben Hiscott, Matthew Marques, and Clare Fuller attended the CWConnected, (formerly Cambridge Wireless), Founders Dinner.

The Founders Dinner, held at Queens' College, University of Cambridge, brought together business leaders, engineers and innovators from across the wireless/telecoms community to share perspectives and industry knowledge.

The dinner followed the CWConnected Innovation in Cell Site Aesthetics: Designing the Invisible Network event held at St Catharine's College, Cambridge.

A newly-created role, the successful candiate will oversee production scheduling, material availability, and workflow visibility.

Experience in steel purchasing or metal procurement, and knowledge of fabrication, welding, steelwork, paint or finishing operations would be advantageous.
