🚧 We're Hiring: Group HSEQ Manager

C.U. Phosco has created a new Group HSEQ Manager role to lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across our four sites (Ware, Coleford, Cleckheaton, Richmond). Reporting to our Technical Director, you'll own our HSEQ management system, lead our audit programme, and manage our QA Technicians.

You'll bring:
✅ 5+ years in Quality/HSE management, ideally with team leadership
✅ Manufacturing or engineering background (steel/welding a plus)
✅ NEBOSH National General Certificate; Diploma preferred
✅ ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent
✅ Full UK driving licence, comfortable travelling to all sites

We offer:
💷 Salary £55,000–£65,000
🚗 Car/allowance
🏦 Pension
📍 Based in Ware, Hertfordshire, head office of C.U. Phosco

Meet the Team: Lewis Turnbull, Contract Services Division

We’re excited to officially introduce Lewis, who works in the Contract Services Division at our Richmond facility in North Yorkshire! 👋 Although Lewis has been part of the team for a little while, we wanted to take a moment to properly introduce him.

Lewis installs and maintains a range of C.U. Phosco lighting products for a number of contracts. Before joining the company Lewis worked in the sports lighting industry.

Outside of work, he’s a big football supporter and even has a season ticket for Newcastle, and also loves to golf with friends.

Did you know there’s a C.U. Phosco Australia?

Our story has a strong Australian connection.
The founder of C.U. Phosco, Charles Albert Marques, originated from Adelaide, South Australia, before relocating to the UK, where he established the foundations of the family business.

More than a century later, C.U. Phosco has grown through 4th and 5th generations of the Marques family.

After celebrating our centenary in 2023, we proudly came full circle with the launch of C.U. Phosco Australia Pty Ltd, led by General Manager Keith Henry, who brings over 35 years of lighting industry experience. Under his leadership, our heritage, expertise, and approach to innovative outdoor lighting returns to the country where our founder's story began.

From Adelaide to the UK, and back to Australia. A family history spanning generations, and a future focused on lighting the way forward.

Supporting grassroots rugby in Finland's capital 🏉

We're proud to be supporting Helsinki Warriors Rugby Club's junior team for the 2025/2026 season, with our C.U. Phosco logo featured on junior playing shirts for the Under 9s, Under 13s and Under 17s.

Junior players also got the chance to design the new shirts themselves, reflecting the identity of the new generation of Warriors, which is fantastic, and they look great!

The club's junior academy helps young people develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy being part of a team. It’s great to support the club and make a positive contribution.

Supporting communities have always been an important part of our values.
