We work with consultancies, manufacturers and retailers and cover the whole of the interior design industry, both nationwide and overseas. Within the commercial interiors sector (hotels, spas, restaurants, clubs, offices, retail, healthcare and education to name a few) clients require candidates with all-round skills, both technical and creative including surveying and feasibility studies, plans,

elevations and technical drawing packages, space planning, visuals and presentation materials, co-coordinating of sub-contactors, as well as specifying and procurement of all FF&E, client liaison and site supervision. A knowledge of a variety of CAD packages is also essential such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp, 3D Studio, Photoshop and Illustrator. Showhome and residential design also requires all-round skills such as many listed above but the emphasis is particularly placed on fabrics and furnishings, styling and interior decorating (FF&E). Interior Designer, London, to £40k, V04298. Our client is renown as an experienced Interior Decorating Studio with sophisticated elegance and low-key luxury. The Principal Designers are as respected for working in an innovative and modern way as much as they are for the timelessness of their more traditional projects. With an extremely busy workload they are currently looking for a Designer to join one of their design teams based centrally in London. There will also be some travel involved both within the UK as well as abroad (which can involve overnight stays).

Role & Responsibilities: Assisting with designing and managing projects from initial enquiry to completion; Drawing and altering floor plans and elevations in CAD and by hand, as necessary; Assisting with schemes - Sourcing ideas for fabrics, furniture and all other hard finishes, liaising with suppliers and requesting samples and quotes; Producing sample and presentation boards; Drafting building schedules from paint specifications to bathroom specifications and all other FF&E items and once ordered, creating schedules to manage deliveries and installation; Placing orders, co-ordinating collections and deliveries and monitoring them against deadlines; Maintaining and developing fabric and finishes libraries.

With 5+ years' experience in a similar role within the luxury residential UK marketplace you’ll have strong organisational and time management skills, as well as good administrative skills. You’ll have IT literacy in all Microsoft Office programmes (Outlook, Word and Excel) plus PowerPoint and proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign. You’ll be highly numerate and articulate with good interpersonal and communication skills plus an understanding of traditional and contemporary materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork sourcing. Possession of a driving licence will also be needed.

Salary is between £36,000 and £40,000 dependant on experience plus 23 days’ holiday ( + Bank Holidays), Life Assurance, Company Pension, Excellent Staff Discount and Christmas bonus. Key Responsibilities are to: Identify, approach and onboard interior designers and design studios across London; Build and maintain long-term partnerships to drive repeat and specification-led business; Promote products for project specification, approval and tender stages; Deliver product presentations and design consultations; Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking sessions; Monitor market trends, competitors and evolving client needs.

Ideally qualified in Interior Design or similar, you’ll have 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales or business development with an established network or experience working with interior designers. Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills will be needed as well as being self-motivated, target-driven and relationship-focused. You’ll also need to be proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Interior Designer FF&E, London, to £44k, V04279. Our client is a leading international design and engineering practice, delivering complete design packages from concept through to completion. With studios in London and abroad, they specialise in high-end residential and hospitality interiors across the UK and Middle East. The London office is their Interior Design and FF&E studio, working on prestigious, design-led residential schemes.

They are currently looking for an experienced Interior Designer - FF&E to join their growing London team. You will work across large-scale, luxury residential projects, taking responsibility for FF&E design, scheduling, sourcing and supplier coordination. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to international projects, beautiful design work, and offers strong career development.

Key Responsibilities are to: Produce detailed FF&E schedules and specifications; Source, specify and manage suppliers and manufacturers; Assist with value engineering and cost control; Attend site visits and inspections; Prepare design schemes and presentations; Manage FF&E procurement and reporting throughout projects.

With 5+ years’ experience in high-end residential or hospitality interiors, you’ll be able to use FF&E software and have proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe InDesign. Excellent organisational and time management skills will be needed as well as confidence in presenting ideas to senior team members. Experience in technical drawing and bespoke furniture design and a strong understanding of international suppliers and procurement will also be needed.

Salary is £40,000 to £44,000 DOE, plus pension contribution, private medical insurance and the potential to work from home on Fridays.
