When you have ADHD, a task like “sort my finances” or “follow up my leads” can contain dozens of hidden decisions. That can make starting feel harder than actually doing the work.

This prompt gets AI to do some of that organising with you.

It helps you:

* Work out what actually matters before jumping into action.
* Shrink a vague task into something achievable in 30 minutes.
* Reduce decision overload by giving you a maximum of three steps.
* Start more easily because you’re given one specific first action.
* Avoid perfectionism and rabbit holes by identifying what to ignore for now.
* Know when you’re finished with a clear stopping point.

The aim is simple: less mental load and more useful business progress.

A lawyer with 30 years' experience used ChatGPT to research a case. He submitted a 10-page brief citing real-sounding rulings. Every single one was invented.

The judge fined him and referred him for disciplinary action. It made global news, back in 2023. Two years later, in May 2025, a UK judge flagged another set of lawyers to their regulator after five more fake cases turned up in a filing.

Same mistake. Two years apart. From people whose entire job is checking facts.

Here's what's actually happening. AI doesn't know facts, it knows patterns. It's trained to always give an answer, so instead of saying "I don't know," it will sometimes generate something that sounds completely plausible and is entirely wrong. Add training data pulled from the whole internet, blogs, forums and opinion pieces sitting next to properly researched sources, and you've got a tool that's confident and wrong more often than most people expect. For new users, that happens roughly 𝟭𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲.

This isn't a reason to avoid AI. It's a reason to use it with the same judgement you'd apply to any other source.

Three habits I teach people I work with:

1. Ask AI to rate its own confidence in what it just told you, 1 to 10.
2. Verify anything that matters against at least three independent sources before you act on it.
3. Keep a human in the loop for anything touching money, legal wording or a client's name.

None of this is about slowing you down. It's about making sure the judgement calls stay with people, and AI stays what it actually is: a very fast first draft, not a source of truth.

Where has AI already given your business a confidently wrong answer, and did anyone catch it before it went out the door?

🩵You don’t need to become an AI expert to use AI well in your business.🩵

You need to understand where it can genuinely make your work easier, where it can save you time, and where your own judgement still matters.

That’s why my training is practical. We work with your actual business, your actual tasks and the things taking up your time. You use AI while you’re learning, rather than sitting through another presentation about what it could theoretically do.

My aim is for you to leave thinking, “I know what I can use this for now, and I feel confident doing it.”

And I’ll always be clear about where AI gets things wrong, where you need to be careful, and when a human needs to stay firmly in charge.

I’m running some in person “AI for small business owners” workshops this Autumn.

Drop a 💙 in the comments, if you’d like me to put you on the early interest list.
No pressure. You’ll get the info first and can decide if it’s right for you 🤩🩵❤️

✨If you use Custom GPTs, there’s been an important change.✨

OpenAI has stopped new GPT creation on personal ChatGPT accounts, including Free, Go, Plus and Pro.

Your existing GPTs still work, so there’s no need to panic.

But I would do one thing this week:

Save a copy of the instructions from any GPTs you rely on, and make sure you have copies of the files you uploaded to them.

👉Why?

Your business knowledge shouldn’t live inside one AI platform.

Those instructions and files can often be adapted for ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools.

I’ll share more on what this change means and your options next.

Are you women in business and are you free on Friday 28th August? 🤩

If you’ve ever walked into a networking event feeling like you had to perform rather than just be yourself, Business Women in Trowbridge is something different.

I’m Emma, the new host, and I’m delighted to welcome you. My aim is simple: everyone should feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

Whether you’re just starting out, growing an established business, or somewhere in between, there’s a seat waiting for you.

We’re a group of women who genuinely support and root for each other. We share ideas, celebrate wins big and small, and show up for one another, because business is a lot easier when you’re not doing it alone.

No hard sells. No awkward pitching. Just real conversations with women doing brilliant things.
