It's getting closer!!.......we have a full team of repairers ready to repair your items, so come along with household electrical items, electronics, anything for our sewists (can't write sew-ers as it reads as sewers), bike repairers and for the first time, we have a knife sharpener, for blades of all sizes.
Come along from 11.30am onwards, last booking 2pm (maybe before if we're super-busy) book your items in, enjoy the tea, coffee and cake and smashing atmosphere!

It's that time again when St Thomas Church Hall becomes a repair hub, brimming with friendly volunteers set to help repair your items, saving them from landfill whilst enjoying a slice of home made cake.

Do you have a favourite piece of clothing or a bag that needs a repair, or a toaster that's stopped toasting, a clock that's stopped ticking or a radio that's now silent?

Bring them along to Stockton Heath Repair Cafe and see if they can be saved from the tip/landfill whilst saving you money.

Pop along to see us at St Thomas Church Hall on Ellesmere Road.

This is a good policy.....we may adopt this one but we have some great local specialist repairers

SEWING MACHINE REPAIR POLICY UPDATE

Due to time constraints, we will no longer attempt repairs on old sewing machines, particularly if they haven't been in use recently.

We try to help as many people as possible. However, with only 2 hours a month, we have found we just don't have the time to take on more complicated jobs. Old sewing machines often have multiple faults or require new parts. It is better to take them to a local sewing machine repair business where they can carry out a full service.

If in doubt about whether to bring a sewing machine to the Repair Cafe, come along and we can advise you. We will assess any sewing machines brought in to decide if we recommend getting it fixed elsewhere or will proceed with repair work ourselves.

Whether you get your sewing machine fixed or not, you are still welcome to a free cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake!
