Last week we ran our sold out Hospitality Business Development, Christmas & PR workshop, now three years strong and showing no signs of slowing down!
Sarah and Tara hosted, and we brought in some serious firepower for the brand new PR session: Bethan Clarke and Tom Dellow from , the team behind campaigns for Mission Mars, the Brit Awards, Popeyes Chicken and plenty more.
What made their session land was how accessible they made it feel. PR is for every operator, regardless of budget or size. It’s about how you show up, how you connect with your community, and how you become the venue people genuinely want to talk about.
Tom summed it up beautifully: “if it’s a place you talk about in the pub with your mates,” that’s the real win. Reach and click rates tell part of the story, and becoming unforgettable tells the rest. 🍻
The real magic though was in the room itself...
Area Sales, BDMs, Sales Managers, GMs, AGMs and Duty Managers from across Manchester’s hospitality scene, all in one space, all swapping ideas on what’s working, what isn’t and what they’re still figuring out. That kind of honest, peer-to-peer exchange is rare in this industry, and facilitating it is one of our favourite things to do. ❤️
