People ask what makes a networking meeting worth the time. It isn’t collecting twenty business cards or trying to pitch your service before you’ve even ordered a coffee.
It comes down to consistency. Showing up, listening to what other local business owners are working on, and helping where you can. Most referral opportunities don't happen during the initial pitch but weeks later when someone remembers a conversation you had over lunch.
Focus on getting to know two or three people properly at your next meeting rather than working the whole room.
