Yes it’s ultra modern now, but all of our photographic prints are still created in the dark…..
A C-type (chromogenic) print is a traditional colour photograph made by exposing light-sensitive photographic paper and then developing it chemically (usually using the RA-4 process).
In simple terms: it’s a real photographic print — not ink sprayed onto paper, but light embedded into it.
Why should you love a proper c type print?
✨ Incredible colour depth
You get smooth tonal transitions and natural skin tones that feel true to life — especially important for portraits and wedding work.
✨ Beautiful gloss, super high gloss or lustre finishes available -
C-types have that classic photographic surface that catches light in all the right ways.
✨ Archival longevity
When printed and stored correctly, they’re designed to last for decades without noticeable fading.
✨ That “proper photo” feel
There’s something about holding a chemically processed print that just feels different. It’s tactile, authentic, and timeless. (And hard to mark)
Our prints are great for

In a world of quick prints and disposable images, C-type printing keeps things traditional, intentional, and beautifully crafted.
