Today I retire and close the doors at Portal after more than 30 years. Huge thanks and appreciation go to the truly exceptional and supportive team I have worked with over the years and the clients and small businesses without whom this would not have been possible. A mention too for the contacts I made during networking events.
I have been blessed to work in the sector which has shared advice, developed good working practices and offered support over the years as the sector continues to grow and flourish. So thanks too go to my fellow operators, IT support, suppliers and the brokers.
Its been an absolute pleasure to work with you all and I shall miss you. New adventures beckon and I'm looking forward to embracing it.

Thursby House in Bromborough remains the jewel in Portal Business Centres' crown. Since opening its doors back in 2012, the centres has proved to be a very popular choice for local businesses looking for high quality serviced offices on the Wirral.

Based just off the A41 next to the Croft Retail Park the centre is ideally situated for those commuting in from Liverpool, Chester or even North Wales, and the excellent motorway links makes it an easy journey.

The centre offers fully serviced offices and is manned with an experienced reception team. There are also two kitchens, communal break out areas and a large free onsite car park. In addition to offering excellent telecoms and broadband, the centre has recently undergone a major refurbishment.

It is with much sadness and a heavy heart that Portal Business Centres today closes its doors at Bridgewater House in Ellesmere Port. Our vision when we opened the centre back in 2017 was to create a fantastic serviced office building and also build a local business community hub where local businesses could meet and engage.

This is exactly what we did at Bridgewater, and it soon become a much sought after office venue. Our popular Fruit Cake Friday networking events allowed local businesses to get together and discuss issues that were affecting them, or just meet up with others for a coffee! We held open days and many other events aiming at bringing businesses together in the area and we are rightly very proud of the community feel we forged within the centre.

As we hand back the building to the landlord today, we would like to take the opportunity to thank both our wonderful tenants, who like us saw the potential within the building and trusted us to help their businesses grow, and our fantastic team who as always, make Portal what it is. Thank you all.

All the team here at Portal would like to wish Jo Wiggins, our Thursby House centre manager, a very happy 10th anniversary with the company! Joining us back when Thursby House opened in 2012, Jo has been a constant in the centre, helping it grow from a newly established serviced office provider into the leading serviced offices in the area. Thanks for being part of the team Jo, and here's to many more successful years!

ever popular Thursby House centre in Bromborough is currently undergoing a refurbishment programme which will see the addition of seven new offices, ranging from two person space up to 10 alongside a newly modernised reception area.

We are currently recruiting for a cleaner for our Bridgewater House centre in Ellesmere Port. Monday-Friday, 4.30-6pm. General office cleaning duties, must be experienced and must have previous experience as a keyholder. Driving licence and access to car preferable due to the location of the centre.
