The CLP-35DDS from Osaka Seimitsu, Japan, has
up to 350mm OD capacity and can now be purchased for under £200k (ex. works) including cylindrical, bevel, and tool measurement options.

Dontyne was on the UK Pavilion of the in promoting our DIGGS solution using the from Renishaw Engineering for up to 100% in-process evaluation of gear tooth parameters. Many thanks to our sales partner Reishauer for their continued support in .

The system is only for and at this point but we are aiming to introduce a straight option later in the year in time for EMO HANNOVER .

The DIGGS system is well suited to customers of their high volume, high precision machines. Several companies are preparing samples to send to us for evaluation of suitability in their production lines. We look forward to helping them improve their productivity and we look forward to seeing you at EMO Hannover in September but if not do get in touch to find out more and please do come to see us in person!

Dontyne Gears presents OSK gear metrology equipment at EMO Hannover in September 2023

Osaka Seimitsu Kikai (OSK), Japan, is a world leader in gear metrology and their equipment has been used in the Japanese gear industry for over 70 years. The company is renoned for good quality and reliability. Dontyne represents OSK in Europe and will be able to discuss your gear metrology needs.



The CLP-35DDS from OSK is a high accuracy gear inspection machine with many gear related functions for profile, helix and pitch evaluation to ISO, DIN, JIS and AGMA standards, and compatible with the Gear Production software from Dontyne Systems. It compares very well on cost to equivalent systems from European and US manufacturers with a typical quotes for gear and tool packages at €200k-€250k ex works.

Dontyne has published the results of some recent in this years Transmission Technology International Magazine.

The work item shows non-involute can have several times the durability of Involute design. The combined services can allow us to work on projects up to Technical Readiness Level (TRL) 6 for new gearbox designs. See page 59 for more information

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023 !!! Dontyne is getting straight back into the swing of things by attending an exhibition this month. From 19 till 25 January, 2023 we are assembling at , at Stall number-A120 and HALL NUMBER-1A.

Martyn English will join Himadri Dutta and his HIMSHIV MACHINES PRIVATE LIMITED team to promote the Dontyne Gears Suite. Of most interest to the market in will be the Machine Centre elements simulating , , , , , , and (Cylindrical, , and ).

These are already in wide spread use across Europe, USA, and Japan due to their accuracy and ease of use. Their use has proven crucial to design appropriate tooling at the design stage thus removing potential errors and waste in production. Many potential customers have already booked their flight/hotel to visit IMTEX . We hope we can be of service to the attendees and look forward to increasing the user base in India in the coming months.

Dontyne will be exhibiting our new Dontyne Integrated Gear Gauge Systems (DIGGS) system for quick inspection and evaluation of gears in the workshop at Renishaw USA, Auburn Hills, 2-3 Nov.
The system uses EquatorTM units to carry out the measurement data collection routine which can be under 30 seconds to make them suitable for mass production. The evaluations can be made for gear tooth profile, lead, and pitch as well as the standard part features.
