On Sunday 30th November we delivered 2 vans full of presents, to the PIAM Ward at Southampton General hospital, as our camper van clifford was too full to take them all, so our friends Marge the camper, along with Dave and Gill, helped to deliver the presents.
I can not thank you enough for all your generous support and donations towards providing Christmas presents to seriously ill children, who will be spending Christmas Day in the PIAM ward at Southampton General hospital. Without your support this would not have been possible to bring a smile to so many children.
I also want to thank the village bakery and cafe, 142 London Road, Purbrook and to Claire and and staff who raised money to buy presents, by doing a baguette challenge, which looked like a lot of fun, but on many occasions the baguette won, as customers struggled to eat it all. Please see their page to see pictures of the challenge and pop in to see them.
On the day, those who were delivering gifts, met inside beaulieu motor museum and were treated to a Christmas choir and a parade of old vehicles. We then drove to the hospital in a convoy to deliver the presents. Just a few pictures of the day and a massive thank you again. Love us ๐๐ฅฐX
