WE DID IT 🤩 20k over 7 hours, bad hips, legs, toes and feet but we made it and are super proud. Well done team YAMS. Thank you to all who donated us, we raised a whopping £820 for Parkinson's UK South West..here’s to next year 🤣🌻🌻🍻

Yesterday’s Dementia Club made some very cute foxes 🦊…I think you’ll all agree they look fabulous…there was also autumn quizzes and word searches and of course plenty of tea/coffee and cake 🥰…if you know of anyone that would like to attend to meet like minded others in a safe space do please call 01934 710073 to book a space 🌻

This isn’t your average support worker role…

We’re looking for someone special to support one lovely client who enjoys getting out and about, having a good conversation and, most importantly, heading off for long walks across the Mendips and Quantocks! 🥾🌳🐾

Could this be you? 👀

🐾 You must love dogs
🥾 You need to be physically fit and enjoy long walks
🚗 You must drive
💬 You need to enjoy a good chat and be able to hold a conversation
📱 You’ll need to be tech savvy enough to lend a hand with an iPad and technology
💛 Experience supporting someone with a learning disability (LD) would be great, but it’s not essential

✨ NO PERSONAL CARE INVOLVED ✨

The hours:
☀️ Week 1 – Monday & Tuesday, 10am–2pm
☀️ Week 2 – Monday, 10am–2pm
Then the pattern repeats.
