We owe each and every follower and customer our explanation and more importantly thanks for all your superb support.
As the full company is now in liquidation. Meaning we can no longer serve you all flowers and sundry and myself and Paul are out of jobs. What breaks our hearts the most isn’t the fact of a lack of job, but losing to see you all and have the laughs we have all shared over so many years. And we honestly mean that. Me and paul couldn’t put one name of a customer who we didn’t like. We have loved, adored, and been honoured to have met some of the most wonderful customers we could have ever asked for. And forget the word ‘customer’ you are our friends and we feel so awful having to say goodbye to you all.
On a personal note. Before I started to work for Paul. I was a very shy, anxious, and really lazy young lad. Paul brought me into his business as a big risk really. And I will never ever be able to repay him for how much he has developed me as a person. My father died when I was 15. Paul is like my second father and is a total hero in my eyes and always will be. But enough of the X-Factor sob story. Not only was it down to Paul helping me but each and every friendly face in the warehouse that treated me like I’d been there for years, so I thank you all for helping me be a better person.
We don’t want this to be a sad ending but be happy that it happened. We are happy that we can call many of you our friends. I’m happy that Paul put 40 years into a business that was a total success. We are happy to know we went to the very bitter end looking after all our most loyal customers. And if you’re reading this I’m happy you followed my little Facebook account.
As for myself and Paul, we ideally don’t want to give up what we love doing. We hope we stay in the flower trade and if we can manage something in the future we will be sure to let our customers know. (I’ve had to edit this bit as rumblings are now in motion and myself and Paul may well have jobs in the flower trade soon. So watch this space). But for now. All that’s left to say is. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️.
