Silly Gooze Editions is a queer, neurodivergent, trans-led Risograph print studio in Northamptonshire. We print for radical welcome.

We don’t just make zines and posters: we print against erasure.

Join us on Sunday for our first Open Editions Sunday Session.

This is an open drop in session, giving participants an opportunity to learn skills and collaborate on an experimental Riso edition together, for free. If you want to buy a copy of the edition we produce, these will be available for £20 each but theres no pressure to pay anything to participate and learn new skills.

Our first session will look at forced CMYK photographic prints. If you want to learn about the process, have an image you want to try out, or just fancy a coffee and a natter, then pop in!

We will be creating a set of images during the day, and there will be opportunity to process your own images so they are Riso ready to print, and we can get you booked back in for a 1:1 session to print these if you want to explore Riso further!

Introducing Spookin’ Spooky Riso Nights where you can design and print your own spooky postcard size print. Think pumpkins, hot chocolate, cursed frogs, magic mushrooms, abandoned buildings.

There are 4 dates to choose from, and after all 4 sessions are done you’ll also receive a set of postcards in the post, featuring designs from other participants. These new workshops are suitable for both beginners and pros, and we will share refreshments, materials, and a background knowledge of the Risos!

Rip, cut, stick, collage, draw, make marks, drink hot chocolate, learn Riso, be spooky!
