A-Lift Crane Hire recently completed another successful CPA Contract Lift, assisting a customer with the safe unloading of a trailer carrying high-value Italian marble slabs.

Due to the size, weight and delicate nature of the slabs, careful lift planning and precise handling were essential throughout the operation. Using our Marchetti MTK40, our experienced team safely lifted the slabs from the transport trailer and into their new stillages ready for working (helped by the glorious weather!).

A-Lift Crane Hire was proud to recently complete a CPA Contract Lift involving the recovery and transportation of a rare Comet tank hull. The project required careful planning and ex*****on as the tank hull had been stored in an overgrown location for many years.

Using a 90T crane, the lift was completed efficiently and safely, with our team managing all aspects of the operation from planning through to final placement. Supporting the project was our new fully electric Ford E-Courier, demonstrating how modern, sustainable fleet vehicles can play a role alongside heavy lifting operations.

The Comet tank hull has now arrived at its new home, where the customer intends to begin a complete restoration, helping to preserve an important piece of military history for future generations.

750kg steel to the rear of an extension in Northampton, for the Klaas 950, it looks easy. For this job we supplied our larger nylon mats to protect the shared block paving road, brought to site by our flatbed van.

New crane day for A-Lift and our operator Michael. We are proud to welcome to the fleet, running on a MAN chassis, a new Böcker AK46. Our previous AK46 was an excellent machine, mixing great reach and lifting capacity with an efficient truck chassis, allowing us to move between sites quickly for our customers, all attributes the new AK46 will excel at. Thank you to the team for another smooth and easy delivery!
