I have seen a lot of people have been on the page recently, I appreciate the support and thank you for your patience, no doubt waiting for an update.
2022 was a struggle of a year for us but the bees kept buzzing and making the honey, I went into winter with 7 colonies and 5 have survived so we have a great potential start with growth to hopefully be 10-12 hives this year and producing enough honey to satisfy everyones cravings for something sweet all over Winter.
I am also busy taking over the education of new beekeepers for the Portsmouth Association, which is always a big task pre-keeping season. Hence the radio silence :-)
BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU CAME HERE FOR! No, you all want to know if we have Honey, I suspect some so you can get a jump start on your hayfever and allergies. Well good news, I have just finished jarring the last of the 2022 crop, I have about 100 jars available, so feel free to message if you want some, £4.50 per 1/2lb jar, and we can take card of cash. Pickup from Merchistoun Road
2023 Charity - we have not decided yet on out charitable cause this year, I am looking into some local opportunities and how best to support them, but any honey we do sell we will still be giving £1 from every jar to charity.
I look forward to seeing all your smiley faces.
