We had the pleasure of attending our local school Thomas Adams School - Wem to help with the year 11s business presentations! We saw some amazing ideas and can definitely see a future for the young entrepreneurs!

Thank you to Rob Oakes and Nicci Franklin from DKL Rubber of Wem, who came into school to be independent witnesses to our Year 11 Business presentations. The pupils had to develop a business idea and present their pitch to business leaders individually. There were some great ideas and fantastic presentations. A big thank you to Mr Cashion for organising this event. Well done to all.

Great result for Wem Athletic well done lads!!

RESULT: Shawbury 0-2 Wem Athletic

A win today against Shawbury with our goalkeeper Steve Gray scoring from his own goal kick, a really tough game where Shawbury came out very well and attacked us from the off. We were resolute throughout though and got the 2 important goals in the first half which was enough for the win.

Huge congratulations to Karl Gough who has been promoted to Quality Manager.
Karl joined DKL 2021 as a production Operative and has seen the company grow and is always looking for ways to improve.
Karl is currently undertaking a NVQ Level 3 Warehouse Operations.
Well done Karl we cant wait to see what the future holds.

Huge congratulations to Dominic Evans who has been promoted to Production Supervisor.
Dominic joined DKL 2021 under the kickstart scheme and since joining us has grown in confidence and become a huge part of the team.
Dominic is currently undertaking a NVQ Level 2 in Lean manufacturing.
Well done Dominic, we cant wait to see what the future holds.

Huge congratulations to Aidan Tudor who has been promoted to Storeman.
Aidan is currently undertaking a NVQ Level 2 in Warehouse Operations. He joined us at DKL in 2021 as a production operative and has always shown intuition, willingness to learn and improve.
Massive well done Aidan, we cant wait to see what the future holds.

Chris started here on the production line but is now the supervisor of the engineering department.
