Hi everyone,

Last week we made the decision to temporarily suspend our Slimming World groups, and when we did so, we promised that this didn’t mean we were giving up on YOU. Ever since then, we’ve been putting together a package to ensure our Consultants can continue to support you remotely, while we all have to stay at home.

Our groups bring people together every week to support and inspire one another, and we know that now more than ever, our members will be missing getting together to share with and motivate each other. In fact, we’ve had countless messages from members feeling genuinely distressed at the thought of losing their weight loss lifeline and the camaraderie of their Slimming World group.

While it is impossible to replace the feeling a face-to-face meeting brings, we’ve worked hard to create a new virtual group that will bring members together with their Consultant and each other at the same time each week. We’re excited to have launched ‘My Slimming World virtual group’ as part of a new virtual weight loss service to continue to help you to stay happy and healthy, and to hold on to the changes you’ve already made towards living a healthier, fitter life. As well as access to a weekly ‘virtual’ group, which you’ll be able to join from home, the new package includes support via social media, access to Slimming World’s app, and continued access to our member-only website Lifeline Online for recipes, eating plans and practical features. We know a lot of you may have questions, and we encourage you to speak to your Consultant to find out more about how 'My Slimming World virtual group' will work for you.

While we know nothing rivals the unbeatable magic of a Slimming World group – and nothing is as good as the real deal! – we truly believe that community is so much more than being in the same room. It’s keeping each other in your hearts and thoughts, sharing practical and emotional support and being there for each other every step of the way. It’s that feeling of being cared for and uplifted, near or far. And we’re so glad you – our incredible communities of Consultants and slimmers – can maintain those connections, and continue to support one another as before. Though we may be physically apart, we don’t need to be alone ❤️

Hi all, sadly our groups are temporarily suspended under the new guidelines from the Prime Minister.
Please know we, Slimming World, are actively working on ways we can continue to support every member in a more 'virtual' way whilst our country, the world, is going through this. Our Head Office amazing people are working tirelessly to find a solution. Our biggest priority is for everyone to stay safe. Rest assured every consultant will be wanting to look after you the best they can through this difficult time that we find ourselves in. This is definitely going to be challenging for all, but we know our members.... you are awesome people with big hearts, caring natures and a community spirit like no other! If any group of people can stay strong and supportive.... well Slimming World Members are those people. Our Consultants care greatly about you, please stay in contact with them. Xx
