This cygnet was found tangled in discarded fishing line and struggling to stay afloat. Thanks to our friends at the RSPCA (England & Wales), he was rescued, and taken to RSPCA East Winch Wildlife Centre to recover 🦢

It's so hard admitting that we're struggling inside, but I'll admit to getting low, or anxious quite often. Picking litter, however much has helped me such a lot. The satisfaction of cleaning an area up, getting chatting to others, enjoying some air makes a huge difference. My driving force is the impact on our wildlife. I'd encourage everyone to give it a go. 💚♻️🗑🌳🏞🚮

To all those wonderful people that have supported and bought things from me in the guise of DiP. To those that have listened to my ramblings about plastic pollution. Well, at last, the dream is becoming a reality! It's early days, but we have a workspace, and we'll be looking for help to bring this new venture to life. This is entirely in aid of Birnbeck pier, a beautiful, historic landmark we must preserve for our wonderful town. Exciting News for Birnbeck Regeneration Trust!

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded an £8,000 grant from Burnham & Weston Energy CIC’s Sunshine Fund! This incredible funding will enable us to purchase plastic recycling equipment and machinery for our new workspace, helping us transform waste plastic into useful products like key rings, buttons and small trinkets all to be sold to raise funds towards the sustainability of Birnbeck Pier.

This investment is a huge step forward in our mission to reduce plastic waste, engage our community, and create sustainable products that will help generate further support for our charity. A massive thank you to Burnham & Weston Energy for their support and belief in our project!

Amazing News! 🎉 The Birnbeck Regeneration Trust’s annual appeal for plastic Christmas chocolate tubs was a huge success! This year, we collected an incredible 1,178 tubs—a massive increase from last year!

These tubs will soon be shredded and transformed into unique gifts, which will be available at the Hub to help raise funds for the Trust. Every purchase supports our vital work in preserving and restoring Birnbeck Pier.
