We handmade this Belfast sink unit especially for Ana,it contains two sets of double doors - perfect for tucking away those freestanding appliances and keeping everything looking lovely and calm.
Finished with a gorgeous deep oak worktop , and handpainted in Farrow & Balls ‘Sutcliffe Green’ , this timeless combination is looking absolutely lovely in their beautiful home.

We can absolutely see why Hazel is so delighted with her brand new Olive Branch kitchen 😍.

Handmade from beautiful Alder hardwood, and hand painted by our team in Farrow & Balls 'Pea Flower Tea ' , which seems to be one of those colours that makes everything around it feel brighter and happier.
Topped with warm pine worktops, bringing just the right amount of warmth from the timber.
As you flick through the pictures you'll spot something else we're rather pleased with .....
The insides are every bit as beautiful as the outsides
Our Alder hardwood means we can make the whole cupboard beautifully , inside & out - solid, practical and made to be lived with and loved.

'We love our new kitchen, & our kitchen fitters are very impressed with your workmanship'

We're loving all the sunshine beaming into todays just finished kitchen.
The space may be slim, but it still feels light and airy , with the original windowsill space being kept open, topped with our thick oak worktops making a great breakfast bar, perfect for that morning cuppa.☕
Our solid wood cabinets are hand painted in Farrow & Balls 'Skimming stone' , a soft white which also keeps the kitchen light and bright .
As ever, our bespoke kitchen cabinets are making good use of every inch, making not only a beautiful kitchen , but a very practical one too 🤍

We love it when previous customers come back to us knowing exactly what they want, it seems once you’ve experienced life with a bespoke solid wood kitchen you’ll never want a factory made kitchen!
Choosing a few simple pieces , he has created a classic freestanding kitchen, with plenty of storage in that lovely Larder cupboard, scroll through his pictures and you’ll see how much he has managed to disguise in his bespoke Belfast sink unit….there’s even a hidden boiler somewhere 👀

This room has no windows to the sun, yet somehow it’s the brightest room in the house✨
A year ago, we decided to give our utility room a little attention. Not because anything was wrong with it — our solid wood kitchen cabinets have been quietly doing their job for over 18 years — but because we wanted to make the space work a little harder for us.

The biggest change was replacing a tumble dryer cupboard with a worktop-to-ceiling bespoke kitchen cabinet. It’s one of those additions that instantly feels as though it should always have been there, providing endless storage for all the practical things that tend to gather in a busy home.

Once the new cupboard was in place, we gave the whole room a fresh coat of Farrow & Ball’s wonderfully cheerful Yellow Ground. It’s such a simple change, but one that completely transformed the feel of the space.

This room receives no natural light at all, yet the soft yellow glow makes it feel warm, welcoming and surprisingly sunny, even on the greyest Yorkshire mornings.

It’s also a lovely reminder of one of the joys of choosing hand painted kitchen cabinets….its flexibility — whenever you’re ready for a change, a new colour can give your room a completely fresh feel.

A utility room is rarely the star of the house, but sometimes it’s the spaces we use every day that deserve a little extra thought. After all, if you’re going to spend your mornings feeding pets and tackling the laundry, you may as well do it somewhere that makes you smile.

The most common aftercare question we get asked is how to keep your wood worktops looking their best...There's a few rules to live by➡️

• Always use a trivet or chopping board for hot pans
• Avoid cutting directly onto the wood
• If scratches do appear, most can be lightly sanded and re-oiled

When it comes to cleaning, less is often more.

➡️Simply wipe with a soft cloth, warm water and a little washing-up liquid.

Strong antibacterial sprays can strip away the protective oil finish, leaving the timber dry and vulnerable.

A couple of little things to watch out for...

• Don't leave wet pots sitting on the drainer all day
• Be careful with metal objects left on the surface, as some can react with the natural acids in the wood and leave dark marks

When water no longer beads on the surface, it's usually time to re-oil. We recommend oiling around 3–4 times a year:

• Lightly rub down with very fine wire wool
• Apply a thin coat of worktop oil (we use Rustins floor oil )
• Wipe away any excess with a clean cloth

And is it worth it?.... Absolutely
A wooden worktop asks for a little attention now and then, but in return it gives warmth, character and beauty that only improves with age.
