Here at the Olive Branch we are commited to individual customer service,through every stage of planning and designing your freestanding kitchen,from bespoke kitchen units to fully fitted kitchens.As all our belfast sink units kitchen islands,dressers etc etc are handmade from solid pine in our Wetherby workshop,we really aren't stuck with 'standard sizes' ...you really can design your own kitchen!

Our kitchens just get better with age…
When we last saw this handcrafted kitchen , it was freshly installed and waiting for its owners to make it their own.
Now, seeing it fully furnished, with its tiled walls and all the lovely personal touches that make a house a home, makes us smile even more 😊.

Our handcrafted solid wood kitchens feel perfectly at home in period properties like this one. Built over 250 years ago, this charming cottage may never have had a kitchen in its earliest days, but our freestanding kitchen furniture takes inspiration from some of the very first kitchens found in British homes, making it a natural fit for these historic spaces.

There's something special about seeing a handcrafted kitchen settle into its surroundings and become part of everyday family life. From the warm wooden worktops to the carefully chosen finishing touches, this cottage kitchen is a wonderful example of that.

As so often happens, this gorgeous cottage is now on the market, and we're delighted to share that its owners are planning another Olive Branch solid wood kitchen and utility room in their new home.
Some things are simply too lovely to leave behind 🤍.

LOVE love LOVE this pink kitchen 💕….and we can’t wait to see again once it’s it completely finished!
This belongs to a self build home, set in the most stunning location by the sea in the Scottish highlands, with views that you could never tire of .
Paula chose a selection of our solid wood bespoke freestanding kitchen cabinets which are suitably chunky to look completely at home in this open plan space , not forgetting a larder cupboard big enough to hold plenty of supplies when the Scottish weather keeps you home for days.
We’re loving the pink they have chosen - so joyful in the sunshine, as well as being so warm and welcoming through darker days.
A very warm heart of a truly lovely family home 💕.

Alex's super smart bespoke solid wood kitchen cabinets are hand painted in Farrow & Ball's Coppice Blue , they are topped with 40mm thick oak worktops, and are finished with black ebonised wooden handles.

We first met Shi a few months ago when we created a bespoke freestanding kitchen for her home, and we were absolutely delighted to hear how much she loved it. So it was especially lovely when she got back in touch — this time to order a kitchen for her friend Jeanette.

And we’re so pleased to see how beautifully it’s all come together ✨

Jeanette’s bespoke freestanding kitchen has been handmade from solid wood throughout, with our team handpainting the cabinetry in Farrow & Ball’s soft and timeless Parma Grey. The worktops are solid pine, stained in walnut and lovingly oiled to bring out their rich warmth and character.

It’s always such a compliment when our customers return — but recommending us to friends really is the loveliest feeling of all.

'We could not be happier with our beautiful new kitchen. Tom was great to deal with throughout and really helped to ensure we got the measurements and design spot on (despite us being based in Northern Island) .
When it came to delivery, everything was incredibly well packaged and managed the journey safely.
The kitchen itself is incredibly well constructed and the quality is really apparent.
We look forward to picking up some more pieces from The Olive Branch kitchens to add to it in the coming years....'

Galley kitchens are never easy but we were super proud of this project , finished in a very sunny May ‘24 .
“ With such a tight galley kitchen , it now feels so light and bright , the cabinetry is such a high standard, and excellent craftsmanship.Our builders said it was the best kitchen they have worked with and would like one in their own homes ! Can’t thank you enough for your fantastic customer service and always on hand to answer all our queries “

Our bespoke solid wood cabinets have been handpainted in the lovely soft Hay ( Farrow and Ball) , and the larder cupboard in Caulk Green . Topped with solid oak worktops.
The pie crust sink unit contains an integrated slimline dishwasher, and pull out storage .

This kitchen is still very much a work in progress, but we couldn’t resist sharing a little glimpse. One of our handcrafted hardwood kitchens has just been installed in its new home, and it already feels rather special.

We introduced our solid hardwood kitchens last year, and they’ve quietly become a firm favourite — nearly half of our orders are now made in Alder. It’s easy to understand why, the timber is just as beautiful on the inside too.

Even the fitters paused to admire the semi-circular shelves and the satisfying smoothness of the drawers , these handcrafted features that make all the difference .

Sarah and Hermione have been incredibly patient (and very brave living without a kitchen for far too long), so we know how exciting it will be to see everything come together at last. There are still a few spaces to fill and those all-important personal touches to add — the final layers that will turn these cabinets into a truly lived-in, much-loved kitchen.

How time flies !
What a treat it was to see this beautiful kitchen again, which we built for Sarah (almost 20 years ago now ), and here it is - still going strong and looking as beautiful as ever.
Nobody wants to leave their Olive Branch kitchen behind when they move home , and we so often hear from you again.
I’m pleased to say we’ve been busy handcrafting Sarah another beautiful kitchen for her new home, this time handcrafted from hardwood .
(We’ll share some work in progress photos shortly! )
A fresh chapter…with the same timeless feel .
