SUPER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS. TROPHY PARADE. WHAT A WEEKEND FOR WAKEFIELD! 🏆🔴⚪

What an incredible couple of days for Wakefield Trinity, their supporters and the entire city of Wakefield.

Following their amazing victory over Warrington Wolves in Saturday’s Super League Grand Final, the celebrations came home to Wakefield on Sunday – and Team Saxon were immensely proud to play our part in the official trophy parade and celebrations. 🏆

Thousands of supporters came out to welcome the Super League Champions home and celebrate an achievement that will live long in the history of Wakefield Trinity.

Our team were deployed throughout the celebrations, with staff on board the open-top buses, teams walking the parade route alongside the procession, and further staff securing the area outside Wakefield Town Hall ahead of the speeches, trophy presentation and celebrations.

To see the streets packed with red, white and blue and supporters of all ages coming together to celebrate their team was something very special. ❤️🤍💙

For Saxon Security GB, this was much more than another event.

We are incredibly proud of our long-standing relationship with Wakefield Trinity and the work our teams deliver throughout the season at the DIY Kitchens Stadium. To then be trusted to help deliver the celebrations after the club became SUPER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS was an enormous privilege for everyone at Team Saxon.

A massive congratulations to the players, coaching staff, backroom staff and everyone behind the scenes at Wakefield Trinity. What an achievement. What a season. What a moment for the club.

And congratulations to the Trinity supporters – the scenes across Wakefield on Sunday showed just how much this club means to its city. 👏

West Yorkshire derby day at Horsfall! ⚽🔥

Saturday saw Bradford (Park Avenue) welcome Garforth Town to the Horsfall Community Stadium for a well-attended West Yorkshire derby.

Garforth took the lead in the first half before Avenue battled right to the end, with Robbie Fox grabbing an 87th-minute equaliser to secure a 1–1 draw in front of 810 supporters.

The result extended Avenue’s impressive unbeaten league run, with BPA remaining the only side in the division yet to taste defeat.

Team Saxon provided a Ground Safety Officer, Supervisor, SIA Licensed Stewards, Crowd Safety Stewards and Customer Service Stewards, helping to deliver another safe and successful matchday at Horsfall.

A proper local derby, a late equaliser and another point on the board for Avenue! 💪⚽
