💯 The Hundred 💯

Outstanding day out yesterday with our youth teams as we took a club trip to Southampton to watch Southern Brave in the Hundred.

All the kids were an absolute pleasure and credit to the club as we watched a double win for the Brave whose mens and womens team beat Birmingham Pheonix.

This was the first taste of live sport for a large amount of the kids and we look forward to next seasons trip.

Business Energy Support Scheme - Act Now!!

The government released the details of the support scheme today. The devil is always in the detail and there are a few finer points that need clarity.

The big takeaway so far is that the scheme gives greater support to businesses in fixed contracts as opposed to variable. The difference could mean paying twice as much for your gas and electricity over winter. So, if you are currently on a variable rate contract or fixed contract is coming to an end between now and April 2023 you need to act now!

'Energy Crisis' is a buzz phrase at the moment and for good reason. While the general media coverage reflects the increasing effect it is having on domestic bills, businesses have been effected by this since last October.

Speaking to businesses, the uncertainty surrounding energy prices is one of the biggest concerns facing them today. I am giving a small briefing on the state of the market at the Weymouth & Portland Chamber of Commerce breakfast next Wednesday morning (16th).

IF YOU ARE A CNG BUSINESS CUSTOMER YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!

CNG have gone into administration. This means all fixed term contracts will be voided and you will move to out of contract rates with a new supplier determined by OFGEM.

There is a small window to get ahead of this but you need to act now!!
