Had some unusual ( for PlankBridge) pocket doors for a hut, and I searched hi and low for an appropriate latch…. Nothing available so I sketched out / designed what I wanted and then I made a sample one to explain what I was looking for from the workshop! Made from an old brass hinge and resurrected brass knob!!!🤣

Made great headway into the exterior finishings on the East Knoyle project.

Had to really scratch my head to shoehorn this gully between the two roofs.
Crash course in fibreglass application seems to be working!

Hand made tiles start to go on and managed to hall up and fit the LuxLite to cottage roof over the stairwell!
Next is the flat valley between the new and old roof.

First floor roof prepped for tiles, and cladding to ground floor started , still another 100mm build up with 50mm insulation before face material!!!
Also started making the boxing for recessed gutter to flat roof.

Busy time on site with walled pit for ASHP and service trenches, along with steel and timber joists in main cottage.+ re-brick fireplace

The start of the year has seen me doing some quite complicated 3D work for production drawings. Really quite a challenge with all the doorways and fitted furniture, but this is how you can really identify to the workshop team all those tricky details and junctions.
