🌟 Thursday Theft Shout Out – Excellent Work by Our BID Ranger! 🌟

A huge well done and thank you to our BID Ranger for an outstanding response to an incident in the town centre this week 👏🚨

Reports were received from a retail store regarding a group of approximately 6–7 young females who had concealed multiple items in store 🛍️❗️

Thanks to quick action and effective coordination, stolen goods were recovered from multiple locations and safely 🛍️✅

The last game of the season to the lads. A big well done on the season with a lot of positives to take away. If you want to watch a game of rugby and show support to great lads then Weymouth & Portland RFC if the place to go this Saturday. 🚨 WE’RE HIRING – BID RANGERS 🚨

UDL Security is recruiting Bid Rangers to work in Weymouth Town Centre.

This is a high-visibility, community-focused role supporting local businesses, visitors, and the wider BID partnership. You’ll act as a town centre ambassador while helping reduce crime, anti-social behaviour, and retail theft.

🔹 What you’ll be doing:
✔ High-visibility town centre patrols
✔ Supporting local businesses with loss prevention
✔ Deterring and reporting anti-social behaviour
✔ Providing reassurance and customer assistance
✔ Working in partnership with the BID, police & council teams
✔ Completing clear incident reports and intelligence sharing

🔹 What we’re looking for:
✔ Valid SIA licence (essential)
✔ Confident, approachable, and professional attitude
✔ Strong communication and conflict-management skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Experience in town centre, retail, or BID security (desirable)
