We are pleased to be co-organising The UK/EU–Ukraine Defence Innovation Corridor Parliamentary roundtable with Tech Connecta Vertex, hosted by Graeme Downie MP.

This parliamentary roundtable will bring together Parliamentarians, senior Government representatives, defence industry leaders, SMEs, innovators and Ukrainian partners to explore practical pathways for defence collaboration between the UK, Ukraine and Europe.

The discussion will focus on strengthening UK defence capability, supporting Ukrainian defence innovation and accelerating collaboration across the UK, Ukrainian and European defence ecosystems.

Contributors include Graeme Downie MP, Dan Danchenko (Tech Connecta Vertex Ltd), Denys Kalachov (International Defence Cooperation / Association of Ukrainian Defence Manufacturers), Andrew Coe OBE (Leonardo) and Colonel (Ret.) Seb Pollington (NATO Advisor). We are also likely to be joined by a senior UK Defence Minister.

Stephen Hoffman Consulting is proud to announce that from 27 April 2026 we have taken up the role of Secretariat to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Explosive Weapons & Their Impact, working with Helen Maguire for Epsom & Ewell, Chair of the APPG, alongside officers Cameron Thomas MP and Viscount Camrose.

The APPG brings together MPs, Peers, industry, NGOs, academics and practitioners to ensure Parliament is informed on explosive ordnance disposal, humanitarian mine action and the impact of explosive weapons on civilians worldwide.

As Secretariat, Stephen Hoffman Consulting manages the day-to-day running of the group, from organising parliamentary events and managing membership to supporting governance and growing the APPG's stakeholder network across industry, the humanitarian sector and government.

It was an honour for our Director, Stephen Hoffman, to meet with Mark Sewards MP, as Public Affairs Advisor for the UK/EU-Ukraine Defence Innovation Corridor.

We know Mark is a longstanding friend of Ukraine, who was part of a UK Friends of Ukraine Parliamentary delegation to Ukraine in September 2025.

We believe there is a lot of potential for companies in Leeds to learn from Ukrainian companies and vice versa for the future security, peace and prosperity of the UK and Ukraine and we welcome Mark's engagement with the Corridor.

Ourselves and the founder of the Corridor, Dan Danchenko, look forward to working with Mark to explore the potential for the Corridor to collaborate with Leeds vibrant innovation ecosystem.
