Our fabulous Events team are putting on an awesome open day, which will be on the 1st February at the Archibald Worthington Club in Whitchurch from 10am until 1pm telling you about what we do.

We will have a variety of team members for you to talk to and see what we do, why we do it and why maybe you should consider a career with AStar!

We will also gurarentee you an Interview 🌟

We are a family run business looking for awesome individuals to join our team.....

We have 2 vacancies become available due to an increase in care and support required for amazing people we already support at home.

We have 1 vacancy in Malpas part time and and 1 vacancy in Whitchurch full time.

Either drivers or walkers just have a passion and desire to make a difference and able to work every other weekend ☺️

We offer so many things as well as a good wage ( also going up in April again ) ☺️ why not make that enquiry to find out more? Start the year as you mean to go on....

Hello everybody! We hope you are well on this beautiful, wintery day!

We wanted to tell you some exciting news. In August, AStar, started a support group for those living with dementia or their carers and loved ones. We quickly realised, by the huge response, that this was something that was really needed, not just for those we support, but for our whole community.

We are so pleased to inform you, we are now teaming up with the Alzheimer's society to bring you, our community, a safe space!

Our first session will be Monday 9th January 2pm until 3:30pm at the Archibald Worthington Club, Castle Hill, Whitchurch, SY13 1BQ

We will have an awesome guest speaker, Rebekah Edwards, North Shropshire Admiral Nurse 🌟

We are so excited to be celebrating 4 successful years in AStar Homecare!
On this day, 4 years ago, we went live with our first care package in Malpas and Whitchurch!
Adam and I had a dream of changing the face of care. With an Incredible team behind us, we have been able to fulfil this dream and more. We have supported so many people over those years! We have changed so many lives for the better.

Of course, like anyone we have made mistakes but we have tried hard to learn from them and always push to be better.

So what has our 4 years looked like?

Well it started with an Award at 6 months old for Best New Business, we were then rated "Outstanding" by the Care Quality Commission in our very first inspection, our sister company, AStar Training and Recruitment, then won an award for best care training provider. You still with me..... Followed by 2 Reginal awards, then 2 national awards for AStar Homecare. This was followed by a pandemic! That was crazy! Created and sold a franchise, 2 more regional awards and 2 more nationals with the Great British Care Awards, new office was built and then a further 2 regional awards!

Pretty crazy right! But we really do love supporting our community and can't wait to see what the next 4 years bring for us!

A MASSIVE thanks to all our incredible team old and new for their contribution. We wouldn't be what we are without you. We would also like to thank all those who have trusted AStar with their care and support needs over the 4 years. 🌟

We would also like to wish Gaynor, our Regional Performance Manager, a happy 4th birthday with us! Thank you for 4 years of dedication, loyalty and flexibility! We love you!
