Almost 20 years since it's closure, the Bus Station was re-developed with funding from BEC, Sellafield Ltd and the NDA.

🍾 Yesterday, we celebrated The Bus Station's fifth birthday with our residents and partners at Sellafield Ltd, Barclays Eagle Labs, Cumberland Council and members of the community.

Since opening in 2021, the £6.1m development has become a thriving hub for businesses, entrepreneurs and creatives.

Over the past five years, The Bus Station has delivered significant social and economic value, generating more than £350,000 in annual local spend, creating over 80 jobs and ensuring 70 per cent of construction expenditure was spent within the local supply chain.
