This is Everyday Data Tools Cumbria.
I build the software that businesses run on β the websites, the booking systems, the CRMs, the bits of automation that quietly do the admin so the team can get on with the actual work.
Custom-built, properly made, designed around how the business actually operates rather than how an off-the-shelf product thinks it should.
Same me β Sean Walker. Some of you know me from Letterbox Smart Cumbria; six and a half years putting leaflets through 100,000+ doors a month, helping local businesses get found. That chapter closed in 2021. Different work now, but honestly the job hasn't changed much β I'm still building things to help businesses run better and reach more customers.
The clearest example of what I build these days is Pinloco, a hyperlocal business discovery platform I've put together on my own from scratch.
It's live, with 7,300+ UK businesses already on it, and it's early days with plenty still to do.
One thing I wanted to get right from the start: no algorithm deciding who gets seen. Every business gets a fair shot, not just the ones with the biggest ad budget.
If you run a business in Cumbria, there's a good chance your listing is already on Pinloco.
Worth a minute to go and verify it β it's free, and the earlier you're on the better.
