Here’s the thing; your subscribers don’t need perfect emails. They just want to hear from you.

Even one small email - a story, a tip, or just a friendly hello - is enough to start building trust. Don’t overthink it.

Here I am, just banging on about one of my favourite tech tools again! ☺️ You see, I’ve seen Manychat transform businesses, and here are my 5 top tips for helping it to transform yours!

If you’re thinking of taking the plunge:

1️⃣ Keep it simple - don’t overcomplicate your flows.

2️⃣ Use conversational language - people want to feel like they’re chatting with a human and not a bot.

3️⃣ Automate but still personalise - add first names and tailor responses.

4️⃣ Test your flows before going live (trust me, you’ll thank yourself later 😅).

Back to it! 👩‍💻

I had some jolly nice time off the last week. We went to Norfolk for a family holiday and it was lovely. The British weather was kind to us and we did loads of fun family activities. We needed the break - it had been a long time coming.

As predicted though, I came back to plenty on my to-do list! Focus not being a strong suit of mine, I was a bit worried I’d get that “I don’t know where to start” scenario, but I actually managed to get my head back in the game pretty quickly! (Helped probably by breaking the back of the holiday laundry on Sunday night as I do find an overflowing laundry basket a tad distracting 🫤)

This is the face of a woman who has just dropped her kids at holiday club for the very first time.

It was nerve-wracking.

I know to many that might sound stupid, and their kids are used to it, but I’ve always managed with family/myself in the past.

Last week was a rollercoaster. First my son said he wanted to go, then he didn’t. Then we talked about it and he agreed to try it, then he denied all knowledge of the conversation 🤯 It was a lot.

Anyway, he came around to the idea and off they went. I’m sure they’ve had the best day, and I’ve got a load of client work done.

Still feel a bit guilty though. Although hopefully some happy faces on pick-up will assuage my guilt.

Words I actually said on a voice note to a business mentor this morning 🤦🏼‍♀️

In fairness I’m fairly well known for my blunt turn of phrase, and whilst the delivery was… rustic, I stand by my question.

It’s always good to get a second opinion and to bounce ideas around with people you trust when it comes to things in your business.

Safe to say, when you work with me, no matter how you ask the question, there’s no judgement here and I’m happy to provide my experience and support to guide you. I get it!

We’re staring down the barrel of the school holidays now for sure.

The next 5 weeks are a blur of sports days, end of year discos and school shoes that don’t really fit anymore but I’m not replacing before September

I don’t know about you lovely folk, but I’m furiously planning childcare, workloads and trying to make sure that I’ve got all the systems in place so that my business doesn’t crash and burn in a 6-week fruit roll-up and ice cream infused period.

Things like;

🍦 making sure my social media is planned and scheduled (where possible)

🍦 making sure my lovely email subscribers don’t forget about me by writing and scheduling all my emails

🍦 getting my offers in place so there’s real clarity on what I offer (in case anyone is perusing my website whilst I’m not around)

🍦 making sure my discovery call process is automated and clear (don’t want people giving up because it’s too difficult to talk to me!)

I am definitely not good at everything.

I’m especially not great at designing social media graphics. You see it’s not my thing - and that’s ok.

It does pose a few issues when I’m trying to be more consistent on socials though!

So I went and outsourced it to my lovely friend Gemma .creative.realm who also did my branding for me. She’s busy as I type working her witchy magic on it! 🪄✨ Can’t wait!
