As we reflect and sorrow, it is important that we consider that our late Queen led a life well lived. She faithfully served not only nation and commonwealth; but also her Lord and Saviour to the best of her ability. Not perfect but a role model. Humble in a lofty position IMHO

So, Liz Truss is going to deliver. We must now ask: what; how and when. As far as the NHS goes, here are a few suggestions, though I am sure this is not a complete solution:
1) Provide targeted funding for staff numbers and pay that will expand service provision
2) Open up global recruitment of doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists: we need more now!
3) Investigate the capabilities of our refugee population and set up free transition testing and courses so HCP among them can be brought quickly into the workforce
4) Increase funding for outpatient service delivery in Primary Care
5) Provide funding to bring mothballed facilities back on stream
Do these things as quickly as possible!
