Brett Hopson, Quality Control Manager at Athena Environmental said: “If not managed appropriately, asbestos can be a highly dangerous substance. Whilst we work with several large organisations, we feel it is just as important to help support local tradesman and smaller independent companies and provide an effective solution to the problem.”

With the HSE trebling asbestos inspections in the last two years and asbestos related diseases causing up to 4000 deaths a year, the business looks set to play an important role in helping companies comply with relevant regulations and protect the health of the working community.
