🔔 New Venue Announcement 📣

We are thrilled to share that OV-Group Inns & Taverns welcome St Thomas Social Club & Local into our family of venues today.

This site is particularly special to us as it has been a staple of a community very close to us here for decades with former and well loved management Marie & Dave. We are excited to re open the club and to continue to carry on their hard work into the future to make this a place for its community.

OV-Group inns & Taverns have a well proven track record of investing into its sites to make sure that they are in the best shape for their customers & communities, recent examples are The Cherry Gardens, Soul Time Wigan & The Whitesmiths Arms to name a few, there will be no exception here! With a full initial investment plan locked in along with long term investments along the way.

The Club will remain very much a Social Club with a member base system also, we think this is particularly important to ensure that the community has a place to call their own and of course have all of the benefits available! We will be releasing membership details shortly on the clubs new social media.

The Club will be due to reopen in mid July this year following the investment that we have planned, you can follow all updates on their social media. In the meantime and in the background, we are working with our entertainment agent Wendy over at MG Entertainments to get that calendar filled with fabulous star nights, artists and more! Along side this we’re building a local and robust team that will become the beating heart of the place and taking good care of our members.

We are working towards a 7 day per week offering to ensure continuity and a regular 7 day club calendar, it’s good to get out the house and spend time with your social circle down at your local. We are also dedicated in supporting local clubs from grass route clubs to local CIC’s to give back to the community and to support local ♥️

We look forward to delivering the new era of St Thomas for many more beautiful years to come.

We are on the look out for a Team Member to join our property team at OV-Group. Our property team are the working cogs of the business and we reply on them to maintain a good image, ensure that our sites are safe and presented as well as carrying our magical refurbishment works to our new and existing sites.

You’re day to day will look like:
👉🏻 Working closely on a schedule of works from our operations manager.
👉🏻 Carrying out general maintenance as scheduled.
👉🏻 Maintaining our estates on a regular basis.
👉🏻 Gardening, Jet Washing, Painting & Decorating.
👉🏻 Low level repairs (tools provided)
👉🏻 Be involved in refurbishments on low level parts of the jobs.
👉🏻 Work in line with health and safety legislation.
👉🏻 Move stock & goods between locations, our site storage and more.

𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:
👉🏻 18+ At the time of application.
👉🏻 Experience in general maintenance required.
👉🏻 Must be reliable and hold a good attendance record.
👉🏻 Have no criminal convictions.
👉🏻 Hold a full UK driving license.
👉🏻 Be eligible to work within the UK
