A1 Momentum

A1 Momentum A1 Momentum provides accredited training and expert opinion in Manual Handling.

Deborah Harrison, Founder of A1 Risk Solutions has worked extensively across the specialised fields of Manual Handling, Ergonomics and Vocational Rehabilitation within the Health, Social Care and Education Sectors. Deborahโ€™s vast knowledge and extensive experience of both her and the A1 Risk Solutions Team, has lead to providing bespoke training courses to organisations and their staff within the

various sectors of Manual Handling. This, coupled with Consultancy Services, has provided the perfect backdrop to the development of the โ€˜The Systemโ€™. A1 Risk Solutions identified that organisations were under financial pressure and often forced to reduce the length and frequency of training; with little additional support offered to staff. Often, these cost cutting exercises would also lead to higher exposure of risk to the organisation, staff and patients; ultimately leaving organisations increasingly vulnerable to the threat of litigation. This led the way for the development of an innovative and unique online Risk Managment and Training platform. Following several years in development, A1 Risk Solutions now provides a managed, traceable online system in a structured format, using an innovative web-based multimedia online learning, training and risk management system. Reducing the risk to the organisation, patients and staff, allowing organisations to vastly improve the training and learning requirements of staff within Manual Handling, Ergonomics and Risk Management, whilst significantly reducing resource costs and time associated with this. This unique system provides added benefits for organisations to demonstrate compliance, whilst reducing potential risk to staff and patients within their care.

๐Ÿ’ฌ What Our Learners Say...

Thereโ€™s nothing more rewarding than hearing how our training is making a real difference in practice.

Abi Davies, Occupational Therapist, recently completed our Moving & Handling Training and shared this feedback:

"The hands-on element of the course hugely meets my learning style. I have specifically enjoyed being able to challenge historical practices."

At A1 Momentum, we believe the best learning happens when theory and practice come together. Our interactive, evidence-based training empowers healthcare professionals to build confidence, develop practical skills, and deliver safer outcomes for the people they support.

A huge thank you to Abi for taking the time to share her experience.
