Where do you even begin with someone like Julie?

She is simply amazing!

One of the nicest people anyone could ever wish to meet. A kind, unassuming, humble person who puts the needs of others first.

The club benefits hugely from her presence as, when a job needs doing, then Julie is always there to get the work done with no fuss.

On the cricketing field, then Julie has been a revelation with her batting. A powerful strokeplayer, she is the possessor of one the best straight drives in the club. A joy to watch!

We are currently recruiting Care Givers across the Wigan area (Pemberton, Orrell, Worsley Mesnes, Wigan Central, Beech Hill, Standish, Shevington, Winstanley) to join our dedicated team.

A Care Giver role is a very fulfilling and rewarding job as they support and care for vulnerable people with all aspects of their daily life. We enable people to live in their own home comfortably and make a positive difference to their lives. You will work in the community delivering a high standard of care delivery to members of your local community.

A full driving license is required for this role as you will be expected to commute from house to house.

Excellent rates of pay, along with travel time and mileage.

No worries – ELLA UK will provide you with free induction training. We will train you to the highest standards and to be the best that you can be to deliver a Rolls Royce service to all our Clients.

Is your loved one feeling lonely or are you yourself in need of company? Well at Ella UK we hold an activity centre to stop individuals feeling isolated. We open the doors at 10am on Tuesday and Thursday where you can enjoy a light breakfast, lunch, hot and cold drinks throughout the day with a bottomless biscuit barrel, we close the doors at 3pm.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy through the day.

Today our ladies went to Applecast Farm, where they met all the animals and had tea and cake. Great morning had by all ❤️🐄🐏🐑🦙

As we age, our social lives start to diminish, and loneliness creeps in. Loneliness is linked to many physical and mental health problems.

Here at ELLA UK, we run an activity centre creating solutions to combat loneliness. Our activity days are filled with:
Singing
Dancing
Live entertainment
Bingo
Domino's
Knitting
Painting
Memory games
Creative colouring
Model making
Paper crafting
Arm chair exercises
Chit chat
And many more activities.

Also, it gets people out of the house and interacts with other people on a regular basis. Plus, it gives them something to look forward to each week.

We open our doors at 10:00 and finish our day at 15:00.
Breakfast is served on arrival, and lunch is served at 12:30, not forgetting hot/cold drinks and a bottomless biscuit barrel throughout the day.

Personal care and administration of medication is not a problem as we employ care workers who are DBS checked and training to the highest standard.

We believe the increase in employer National Insurance will put immense pressure on the social care sector, a sector already stretched by funding and staffing issues. We call on the government to review this decision and exempt all social care providers from these added costs.
