I have a confession to make.....

I am RUBBISH at posting on my own socials!

I don't make it a priority at all because I spend my work time posting on clients socials and non work time dealing with this monkey and his two brothers.

He is a handful! Yesterday he managed to flood the bathroom which resulted in water pouring through the kitchen ceiling right as I was leaving on the school run!

There are many reasons people don't promote themselves on their own social media, time poor, distractions, not being good at blowing their own trumpet, not really having the understanding or knowledge of what to post and when, to make the biggest impact.

I can promise you, if you outsource your social media to me, I will make you my priority. Your business will become one of my babies (though hopefully won't flood my house!), I will happily blow your trumpet (thatswhatshesaid) and I will work hard to understand your business, you and what you want to achieve.

What is your drive behind setting up your business? 🤔

Is it for a better lifestyle, a better work/life balance, to enable you to spend more time with your kids, to be able to help other people?

Everyone has a fundamental reason they start up.

Mine is 💯 because of my kids. I want them to see that I'm a hardworking, independent woman that can provide for them, that they have strong memories of the fun we have had together, the love I have for them and that I've always tried my best for them.

I couldn't achieve that whilst working for someone else. Especially when I was a single mum.

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that it is hard work setting up your own business, you can't just switch off at 5pm. You work long hours and it can sometimes feel like you've taken a step backwards, but keep in the back of your mind the reason you decided to do this in the first place and that you will get there. 💪

Does anyone have any tips for new business owners on how to achieve the right balance, how to effectively achieve your goals or anything else? Drop them in the comments below. I'm sure we'd all appreciate it. ❤️

I call bu****it. Unless you're Jennifer Aniston or Rupert Grint it's not going to happen. They're either lying or doing something rather unsavoury to achieve it 😂😂

Organically growing followers takes time, it takes effort and hard work, good content, interaction and engagement and a good social media strategy.

Whatever you do, do not buy followers!!!!

There is no point having tons of followers if they aren't relevant or interested in what you're doing.

Appealing to your target audience is key, so don't look for the quick fix.

Hello!

As it says below, I'm a mum of 3 boys, which I'm not going to lie, is exhausting!!!! 👶🧒🧑

They are a bundle of energy, fun and mischief.

My background is property but after my 3rd baby I realised I needed to do something that fit around the kids so I set up a social media management business.

Social media has been a big part of my life since it came around, I could always see the value it can add, as well as the downside to it!

🗣️I think it is the best platform for showcasing your business, connecting with your customers and humanising you!🗣️

I have various qualifications in social media management and digital marketing and continue to do as many courses as I can fit in to keep up to date.

📍I am based in Wilmslow in Cheshire but cover anywhere in the UK for businesses that don't need me on site. I offer various services but the most popular is running your Facebook and/or Instagram pages so you can spend your time doing what you do best!

I specialise in small businesses and love what I do!

Always be authentic and genuine.

This is how we make connections.

I had a meeting with a lovely lady this week, rather than selling her my business I told her the truth, gave her advice and tips and hopefully took a weight off her shoulders.

I will always be honest and tell you if you need my service or not.
