If you weren’t in the room this morning, you missed something special…

Hosted by the brilliant .sunshine, today’s Macclesfield Brunch Club took place in the heart of Bollington Brewing Co. and what a morning it was.

Fresh coffee flowing. Delicious home-cooked food by . Meaningful conversations. New connections being made. Ideas being shared. Opportunities being uncovered.

But the real magic?

Every person in the room was challenged to stop avoiding the thing holding them back in business and face it head on.

No sales pitches.

No awkward networking.

Just a room full of business owners openly discussing challenges, sharing ideas, offering support and helping each other move forward.

People arrived with questions.

They left with clarity, fresh momentum and at least one action they committed to taking before we meet again.

This is what happens when talented people come together with open minds and a willingness to collaborate.

A huge thank you to Vikki Wray for creating such a welcoming space and to for being a fantastic host venue. Spacious, relaxed, plenty of parking and the perfect backdrop for productive conversations and with co working upstairs.

Three years ago, I was at one of Sue France’s networking events at Dexter & Jones.
Sue sent me a photo from the day this morning and it made me smile.
Not just because of the lovely memories, but because of everything it represented. The connections and the conversations that were taking place in that very room.
At the time, none of us could have known that three years later, The Cheshire Club Signature Blends would be proudly stocked at Dexter & Jones. (and online)
Who would have thought it?
It's funny how life comes full circle sometimes.
I've since been back and even left founding issues of INSIDECheshireMagazine for people to read and now, in just four weeks' time on 7th July, I'll be back at Dexter & Jones hosting our very first After Hours Networking Party, surrounded by incredible business owners, great conversations and, of course, unveiling Issue Two of INSIDECheshireMagazine .
The same venue. Another chapter.

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE.

Not the woman who doubted herself.
Not the one who stayed too long.
Not the one who worried what everybody else thought.

Remember the woman who rebuilt.
The woman who kept going when life threw everything at her.
The woman who turned setbacks into stepping stones.

Because somewhere along the way, many of us forget.

We get caught up in the to-do lists, the responsibilities, the expectations and the noise.

But here’s your reminder…

You are not finished.
You are not fading.
You are not “past it”.

You are experienced.
You are wiser.
You are stronger.
And you are only just getting started.

The best part about getting older isn’t the years.

It’s finally becoming comfortable enough to be yourself.
