The Healthy Eating and Nutrition Project (HEN) is running in Fareham and Gosport in the Autumn Term. The HEN project covers all things healthy eating and nutrition – from snack times to working in partnership with families – whether you’re a packed lunch setting or you cook on site – come along and find out how you can best support your children to build healthy habits from 0-4.

The project has been running in Hart and Rushmoor over the Summer Term and has had great success. Here’s what practitioners have had to say:

“The HEN project has driven real improvements in confidence, practice, and children’s experiences across the setting.”

“Coming to the training has led to clear, lasting changes, with more confident staff and children more engaged in healthy eating.”

What we are offering:
• FREE, LOCAL training (2 face to face events)
• Virtual training (4 sessions- great for whole staff meetings!)
• A visit from the EYFS Advisory Team to chat about all things healthy eating
• Access to the HEN Moodle, where you can find FREE resources
• A chance to attend LOCAL Chop, Grate, Make training
• A certificate if you wish to apply for your Healthy Eating and Nutrition badge for you to print and display or use virtually on your website.
