Before any system goes to site, we put it through its paces. Our Operations Manager, recently walked me through this scaled-down setup designed for a unique high-profile venue in the City of Westminster.

The kit? Panasonic UE160 cameras with fibre to 12G SDI via AJA Video Systems converters. Our compact Blackmagic Designl ATEM 2ME giving dual output mixer capability. Netgear AV line network switch powering the lot. Audio converters routing laptop feeds to the sound desk. Epiphan Video Pearl for streaming. Full camera control with preset recall, (same spec as Westminster Abbey). Vision mixer for seamless camera switching with auto fades. And a streamlined sound desk handling lectern, radio mics, pulpit, music sources, and laptop inputs.

When in engineer-led mode, everything's controlled from here, the main output feeding the venue's system, and the stream output goes direct. It's a purpose-built, scaled version of what we've deployed at Westminster Abbey, tailored specifically for another unique and prestigious site.

Our commitment doesn't end when the project goes live. Recently, we revisited the prestigious Central London, Grade 1 Listed venue, Prince Philip House for Royal Academy of Engineering, to fine-tune their unified AV system.

Our Maintenance manager Jack Baker led the support team with Ashton Partridge and Jonathan Harding MBCS, were working alongside the exceptional Lightware Visual Engineering, including support engineer Michael Clements and Technical Manager Martin Lawes, we optimised their VINX platform to deliver maximum performance for hybrid meetings and event hire spaces.
