We are thrilled to announce that Carole Hibbett has been promoted to Finance Manager at Optichrome.

Carole has been an integral part of the Optichrome team for the past two years, bringing dedication, expertise, and a wonderful energy to our Woking headquarters.

Originally from Normandy, France, Carole moved to the UK in 1987. Her impressive career spans lecturing at Bath University, office and accounts management for a French clothing and textile firm in London, luxury fashion marketing, and running Peer Forums at Gartner. Having managed finance and operations within the print industry since 2009, her wealth of experience is an invaluable asset to our family-run business.

Outside of work, Carole loves staying active with Pilates, walking along local rivers, and cooking up Mediterranean signature dishes like her classic chicken Provençale and ratatouille.

There is nothing quite like getting honest feedback from the people you work with.

Instead of sending another easily lost email survey, Gemma wanted to do something a bit more thoughtful and personal. She put together an interactive peel-and-reveal mailer with a hidden QR, sending everyone who completed it a personalised pack of printed paper straws to say thanks.

The results were brilliant, but our favourite part was sharing the responses back with our team.

As you can see from the poster we put up on the shop floor in Woking, the feedback meant the world to everyone here, with comments like "always excellent advice & service" and "quality of work could not be better".

A massive thank you to all our clients who took the time to respond, and to our whole team for putting the effort in every single day.

We recently completed this beautiful run of print for our long standing client EBB.

As a national paper and board merchant with their head office just down the road from us in Farnborough, EBB is a company we have worked with closely for many years. We always appreciate collaborating with teams who share our absolute dedication to quality, sustainability, and precision.

For this project, which focuses on "Climate and Paper" using Sappi Magno stock, the tactile quality of the physical page is exactly what brings the message to life. There is simply no digital equivalent to the weight, texture, and clarity of a beautifully produced print asset.

We are absolutely delighted to introduce the newest member of our Hand Finishing Department, Will Stuart.

At Optichrome, we believe that print is a tactile, timeless medium, and the final hand-finished touches are what truly bring a premium project to life. That is why Will is such a perfect fit for our Woking-based national family business.

He comes from a brilliant family of creatives, and that innate passion for detail and craftsmanship shines through in his work as a Hand Finishing Operative.

But Will’s creativity doesn’t stop when he leaves the print room floor.

Will studied Music Technology at university. He is into electronic music and has even worked on sound design for a number of video games.

When he isn't focusing on intricate print finishing or audio waves, he’s making waves of a different kind. Will recently completed the gruelling Great North Swim, smashing the 1-mile open water course in an incredible 26 minutes.

Whether it's precision in sound design, speed in the water, or meticulous care in hand-assembling our clients' high-quality print and mail projects, Will brings dedication and a unique creative spark to everything he does.

Shortly, Jasmin is taking her talents to the national screen. She is competing in the fast-paced Snooker 900 tournament, broadcast live on Pluto TV! 📺

We are incredibly proud to share a fantastic achievement by one of our own! On Saturday 13th June, Jason Grafham and his wife Carrie completed their very first 10k ‘March for Men’ walk in London, raising vital funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer UK.

It was a beautiful, sunny day in the capital, shared with an inspiring community of 4,109 participants. Their route took them from Battersea Park, across Chelsea Bridge, up to Lambeth Bridge, and back past the iconic Battersea Power Station.

What stood out most to Jason and Carrie was the deeply moving community spirit, as fellow walkers openly shared their personal stories of how prostate cancer has impacted their families and friends.

The collective impact of this event is truly remarkable:

🚶 4,109 walkers hitting the streets of London.

🤝 25,758 individual donations made so far.

💰 £667,014 raised to support life-saving charity work.

As a family business based in Woking, we know that nothing connects people quite like shared stories and tangible, meaningful experiences.
