District Home Care is a privately owned modest sized domiciliary agency providing excellent day and live-in care.

What we do.
The role of our Care Assistants is to safely support your clients with personal care, assistance with medication, promoting and encouraging independence, whilst respecting their dignity and always maintaining their privacy and wellbeing.
What are we offering?
Full and Part time flexi or guaranteed hours, starting from 7:00 to 14:00 and/or 16:00 to 21:00. We expect our staff to cover at least two evenings a week and commit to alternative weekends as part of your regular roster.

Duties include, but not limited to.
• Personal care / bathing/ dressing
• Transfers and hoisting may be required
• Supporting clients in and out of bed
• Incontinence/toileting/catheter care
• Medication support
• Light meal preparation / serving / feeding
• Light housework/laundry
• Reliable time keeping
All about you.
• Reliable and able to commit to a couple of evenings a week and alternative weekends
• Serious about bringing value as well as being valued as a care assistant
• Car owner / driver (essential)
• Happy to visit multiple clients living in their own homes in and around the Woking area
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
• Confident in making responsible decisions and always working in a person-centred way.
• Had both COVID-19 Vaccinations and booster jab and/or willing to show a commitment to receiving covid jabs.
• Great can do – will do attitude
• Good hygiene practice and a smart appearance
• Good dollop of common sense topped with a balanced sense of humour!!
All suitable candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS Check.
No experience is necessary as we offer full training, all we ask it that you bring a genuine desire to learn and become the best carer you can be.
