This month we’re featuring Scott Ellis- Architectural Technologist and CEO of Ellis+Company, and a Collaborate member for three years.
Scott started out as a junior architectural technologist after finishing his degree. His grandad, a structural engineer, introduced him to an architect who later became his business partner. Together, they founded Ellis+Company (formerly AG1 Designs), when Scott was just 27 years old.
A decade later, Scott is now the sole director, and knows the local landscape inside out- from councils and consultants to planning quirks. Continuously bringing thoughtful and innovative designs that always meets his clients needs.
Scott’s philosophy is simple: “Look after your clients and they will look after you.”
Sustainability is a cornerstone of Ellis+Company, and Scott ensures it remains central to every project—from smart design and energy efficiency to green spaces and eco-friendly materials.
Scott first joined Collaborate as a dedicated desker, but as the company has grown, so has his space. He now works from a private office on the third floor of Steward House, designed exactly for Ellis & Company.
