We have two pallets of PALBond Hot Melt Adhesive leaving us today to be with our customer Monday morning. After initially trialling one carton they were more than happy in how it ran through their machines and have committed into buying larger volumes.

PALBond® Hot Melt adhesive has been in our range for approximately 12 months now and it has quickly become the preferred adhesive for a wide range of applications in various industries.

We are over half way through the final quarter of 2024 and the packaging industry appears as buoyant as ever. If you work in the corrugated industry then we offer a range of double sided box closure tapes which can be produced in different formats or we have our PALBond® adhesive for your glue line operation. As well as this, for the flexible packaging industry PAL manufacture a range of double sided bag seal tapes and we again offer a grade of PALBond® which has been developed specifically for this industry and application.

Since its launch in early 2024 we’ve seen our PALBond® Hot Melt Adhesive go from strength to strength. It’s a firm favourite with corrugators, box manufacturers and for companies producing peel and seal envelopes.

PAL Adhesive Products is predominantly a UK manufacturer of an extensive range of specialised adhesive tapes. So was selling a hot melt adhesive a punt into a new market? The answer is a firm no. Over 15 years ago following numerous meetings and discussions with our adhesive partner an adhesive formulation was created which fulfilled our specific requirements. So for all our customers running our machine length rolls in an automatic process then if they also run a glue line then we also have a solution for that too.

Our flexibility means you can buy either one box or one pallet of adhesive. Both of which can be despatched within 24 hours.

One week on from exhibiting at at the NEC we have been delighted with the response and reaction from customers and visitors alike who took the time to visit our stand.

PALBond, a permanent hot melt adhesive which is ‘tried and tested’ and used in the manufacturing of many of our own adhesive tapes for well over 15 years now.

A perfect adhesive for companies running glue line operations including box manufacturers, print finishers and envelope manufacturers.

Our RA8355 is a transparent double sided self-adhesive tape consisting of a PET carrier coated with a high performance acrylic adhesive. The tape is constructed using a red filmic release liner making the total thickness of the tape 205µ

We can supply material in either log rolls at 1260mm wide or in slit rolls where we can offer widths from as narrow as 3mm wide.

If you have glue line operation then our PALBond Hot Melt adhesive is available in either 0.5kg or 1.1kg pillows and available on a Next Day delivery.
An adhesive which we had formulated over 16 years ago for our own use in manufacturing adhesive tapes we now supply direct into industry. We don’t have large minimum order quantities so if you’re operating a folder gluer then please get in touch !
