We transform plastic waste into commodities, ready to be manufactured into something useful again.

The process starts with the collection. From there, the collected bottles are sorted, flaked and washed, and then extruded and pelletised in a completely enclosed process to ensure it is 100% hygienic for use again.

We buy bulk loads of PET scrap from suppliers all around the UK and overseas. Much of this material is sourced from the waste management and recycling sector, this includes post-industrial and post-consumer bottles. Once processed, we sell PET flakes and pellets as specified by packaging and plastic manufacturing companies.

With 2 dedicated production lines, we produce 18,000 metric tonnes of PET Flakes every year.

We are pleased to introduce you to our new owner and Managing Director of QC Polymer, Arpan Dhanuka, pictured centre here with some of the team at our recycling plant in the Midlands, UK.

At QC Polymer, we are helping to drive the UK’s circular economy and journey to Net Zero through creating quality, recycled polymer which has a reduced carbon footprint over virgin products. We have invested in state-of-the-art equipment to identify, sort, clean and process PET bottles. Our advanced technology guarantees that each bottle will be 100% recycled and processed into high quality, hot washed, rPET flake and pellets. These will then be used to create new PET products, helping support the circular economy.
